“It’s a special place for me to race at,” Abreu said. “I have a lot of ups and downs here and a lot of respect for this place. When you line up next to guys like (David) Gravel, Schatz, (Brad) Sweet, Sheldon (Haudenschild), and everybody. Those are the best in the business. That’s what they do for a living. It’s just an unbelievable job by my team.”
“These wins become really emotional when you get up here on the front straightaway in front of a packed house and in front of Jaxx,” Abreu said, patting Jason’s son on the shoulder. “It’s a very cherishing moment for my team and I. We’re all our here racing for Jason Johnson’s legacy.”
“It's an incredible feeling," Abreu said. "it's incredible for my team. I think that's the coolest part for me is for my team to experience something like that. Those are definitely difficult wins to come by."
